As winter wanes, and temperatures rise, honeybees emerge from their hive in search of pollen and nectar. Without flowers or trees, honeybees will make do with pollen found in seed mixes at bird feeders. Once spring arrives look for honeybees on flowers such as Crocus, Dandelions, Coltsfoot and Snowdrops as well as on some trees such as blossoming fruit trees and Pussy Willows.
